Sue Carney was born in St Asaph and educated in North Wales, Newcastle upon Tyne and at The Royal College of Art.

She has exhibited regularly in Europe, the U.S.A, and in recent years has had major one woman shows in Egypt, Sri Lanka and India, in both commercial, contemporary galleries and at the British Council in Cairo, Colombo and Madras.

Her work is held in many public and private collections, including that of the sculptor David Nash and the industrialist H.K Kedjriwal’s international collection in Bangalore.

Sue lives and works near Sandwich in Kent and in Oppedette in Provence, France.
